Create New Laravel Project Latest Version In Ubuntu

Requirements:

  1. Install LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) Version [ laravel 5.4 ( PHP >= 5.6.4 ) , Laravel 5.5 ( PHP >= 7.0.0 ) ]
  2. Composer
  3. PDO PHP Extension
  4. OpenSSL PHP Extension  
  5. Mbstring PHP Extension
  6. Tokenizer PHP Extension

Install LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) Server:

First of all, we need LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) server, so we can install step by step this link: Install LAMP Server

Install Composer:

Now you just need to install Composer step by step show this link:- Install Composer

Create New Laravel Project:

To do Open Terminal use this shortcut key

Ctrl + Alt + t

open command promt and go to your project derectory path, and folow below command.

Install Latest Laravel project using this below Command (run this in Command Prompt)

composer create-project --prefer-dist laravel/laravel project_name

Install Laravel 5.4:

composer create-project --prefer-dist laravel/laravel project_name "5.4.*"

Install Laravel 5.3:

composer create-project --prefer-dist laravel/laravel project_name "5.3.*"

Install Laravel 5.2:

composer create-project --prefer-dist laravel/laravel project_name "5.2.*"

Install Laravel 5.1:

composer create-project --prefer-dist laravel/laravel project_name "5.1.*"

Install Laravel 5.0:

composer create-project --prefer-dist laravel/laravel project_name "5.0.*" --prefer-dist

Install Laravel 4.2:

composer create-project --prefer-dist laravel/laravel project_name "4.2.*" --prefer-dist

run Laravel Project

open command promt and go to your project derectory path, and folow below command.

php artisan serve

Now you just Open Browser and go to below url line.

localhost:8000
